About
PiggyVest is a Lagos-based online savings and investment platform that started in January 2016 as a digital version of the kolo savings box, automatically debiting users' cards on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule. Co-founded by Somto Ifezue (CEO), Odun Eweniyi (COO) and Joshua Chibueze, it now offers automated savings, fixed-term locked savings, goal-based target savings, flexible naira and dollar savings and investment opportunities. TechCabal reported in October 2026 that it has about 6.7 million users. Its parent, Piggytech Global Limited, also owns the payments app Pocket.
