Pesa is a cross-border payments fintech that lets people send, receive, hold, spend and convert money across borders through its app, with multi-currency wallets, international transfers in more than 30 currencies and cards. It was founded in 2021 as PesaPeer by Tolu Osho (CEO), Yusuf Yakubu and Adewale Afolabi, and rebranded to Pesa in 2023. In October 2026 it launched an Australia corridor under AUSTRAC authorisation, letting customers send Australian dollars to Nigeria and other African countries, the Philippines, India, Europe, the UK, the US and Canada.
