Charge card and AI tool for families spending state education savings account funds
Pathfinder (Pathfinder AI, Inc.) is a Phoenix, Arizona-based fintech that helps families in state education savings account (ESA) programs spend and get reimbursed. It offers the Pathfinder Education Visa Charge Card, issued by Column N.A., plus an AI tool that checks whether a purchase is ESA-eligible, organizes receipts and files reimbursement requests whose approvals pay down the card balance. It launched in Arizona in March 2026 and earns interchange rather than charging cardholder fees. Co-founded by Amaan Ahmad and Sidharth Jain, it raised a $12M Series A led by Portage with Reach Capital, Gradient and Stand Together Ventures Lab (Axios, Oct 29 2026).
