About
Origin is a San Francisco physical-AI company building general-purpose robots for interior construction. Its flagship OG-1 robot handles wall finishing tasks such as applying compound, sanding and priming, powered by a Construction Action Model for task planning, navigation and tool control. Founded in 2025 by Yogesh Ghaturle, Ashish Daga and Tushar Makkar, it deployed robots on New York job sites within 10 months of founding. On 15 October 2026 Entrackr reported $20M in funding co-led by Accel and Zacua Ventures, with Unilazer Ventures, Schema Ventures, Z21 and angels from Anduril, Skild AI, 1X and Tesla participating, to expand the fleet and run pilots in the US and Europe.
