Optivolt (Optivolt Labs) is a San Francisco power electronics company building an intelligence layer for solar. Its Power Balancer embeds active electronics inside the panel and redistributes energy among cell groups in real time to recover output lost to shade, weather, dirt and uneven degradation, without microinverters, and works with any battery or inverter. It sells home solar systems with a 30-year warranty and runs an installer partner program, and says it has shipped more than 20,000 panels with the technology. Founded by CEO Rohit Kalyanpur, it raised a 32 million dollar Series A in October 2026 led by VXI Capital with RA Capital, Valo Ventures and Atlas Innovate, bringing total funding to 42 million dollars.
