Neywa Labs builds infrastructure and apps that run frontier open AI models natively on personal devices, starting with Apple Silicon Macs. Co-founded by CEO Prince Canuma, the creator of the open-source MLX-VLM library, it emerged from stealth in October 2026 with Nativ, an open-source Mac app for running open models locally, and Engine, its on-device inference offering for developers.
