Nettle builds an AI workspace that helps commercial insurers assess and manage physical risk across their portfolios. It brings risk identification, evidence capture, analysis and reporting into one place, using AI and external data to spot exposures remotely and guided inspections that let risk engineers, agents and policyholders collect site data. The platform analyses images, video, audio, documents and third-party data to produce reports, risk scores and recommendations, and Nettle says it lets insurers complete risk inspections five times faster. Nettle was founded in 2024 by former QuantumBlack colleagues Jack Miller (CEO) and Katya Kinane, and in October 2026 raised a $4.8 million seed round led by MTech, bringing total funding to $6.8 million.
