Nagare Labs is an Atlanta-based Georgia Tech spinout developing Z2RAM, a capacitor-less oxide-semiconductor memory designed to deliver SRAM-class speed at DRAM-class density and be deposited directly on top of AI accelerators. It was co-founded by Georgia Tech professors Suman Datta and Shimeng Yu, emerged from stealth in October 2026 with $5M led by Playground Global, and is currently at the lab-prototype stage.
