MedEnvision is a Belgian medtech company headquartered in Westerlo, with a US subsidiary, that helps orthopaedic surgical teams work more efficiently in the operating theatre. Its Efficient Surgery (ESY) solution, built around the Gripper and EsySuit products, standardises key steps of hip, knee and shoulder replacement procedures to improve efficiency, free up staff, improve ergonomics and support infection control. Founded in 2012 and led by CEO Dries Goyens, it says its solutions are used in more than 26 countries. In October 2026 private equity firm TA Associates agreed to take a majority stake alongside the founders, management and Smile Invest, with the deal expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
