mamun is a Sharia-compliant trade finance platform based in Muscat, Oman, licensed and regulated by Oman's Financial Services Authority under its crowdfunding framework, with group entities in Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong. Businesses apply with invoices, purchase orders and contracts to get short-term trade working capital, while investors finance those trades deal by deal and are repaid as trades settle. Its AI-based origination and underwriting assess the company, the shipment, the contract, the buyer and their trading history. Founded in 2019 by Saleh Al Tamami, Mohammed Al Tamami and Ahmed Al-Issaei, it raised a US$3 million seed round in November 2026 led by Phaze Ventures through its Oman Fund, with Jasoor Ventures participating, to scale financing along the Greater Bay Area, Oman and UAE corridor.
