Instant robot learning from a single demonstration
Machenta is a London robotics startup spun out of Imperial College London that builds a robot foundation model, trained entirely in simulation, which lets robots learn new physical tasks such as packing and tidying from a single demonstration without further training. Co-founded by Imperial professor Edward Johns (CEO) and Vitalis Vosylius, it came out of stealth in October 2026 with a $40M seed round co-led by Creandum and Union Square Ventures.
