AI-enabled operations platform for growers, packers and food distributors
Loamy (Loamy Technologies Inc.) is a Los Angeles-based startup building a mobile-first operations hub for the food supply chain. Its platform combines food safety and quality (including FSMA 204 traceability compliance and custom inspections), inventory and order management, financial operations, harvest planning and mobile forms for growers, packers, processors and distributors. Loamy uses satellite imagery, field and weather data and AI to flag produce likely to fall outside buyer specs weeks ahead so it can be redirected rather than rejected. Founded in 2024 by Charles Julius and Jason Pesek, both formerly of Motive, it raised a $6 million seed round led by Zeal Capital Partners in October 2026, with Slauson & Co., Supply Change Capital and Amplify.LA, bringing total funding to $10 million.
