About
Leela is an agentic AI compliance platform for U.S.-regulated financial businesses such as fintechs, regulated funds, crypto companies and their sponsor banks. It builds a compliance program from a company's policies and agreements, extracts the obligations that apply, drafts, routes and completes the work across the company's systems, and keeps the decisions, approvals and evidence needed for audits, with people approving key steps. The team is led by CEO Preeti Krishnan, a former Davis Polk attorney, and CTO Frank Kim. Leela launched out of stealth in October 2026 with a $4.6 million seed round led by Array Ventures and Female Founders Fund, with Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures, The Council and angels participating.
