Line-powered monitoring stations for high-voltage transmission lines
Laki Power is a Reykjavik-based company that makes self-powered monitoring devices for overhead high-voltage lines. Its patented power-harvesting technology draws up to 300W directly from the conductor to run cameras, weather and line sensors, onboard compute and Starlink or LTE communications, helping utilities monitor icing, wildfire risk, line condition, security and safe carrying capacity. It also offers Laki Analytics Studio software. In September 2026 Laki Power announced a EUR 6M Series A led by the NATO Innovation Fund with existing shareholder ReykVC.
