About
Intuitivo is a Portuguese edtech startup, founded in 2021 by João Guimarães (CEO), Duarte Oliveira and Diogo Silva, that builds a digital assessment platform for educators from primary school to higher education. Teachers can build assessments from scratch, draw from a shared exercise library, or use AI to convert old PDF tests into interactive auto-graded digital versions, while students open tests through a single link without an account or software install. The platform adds real-time monitoring during live assessments, anti-cheating mechanisms, automatic performance statistics by student, class and exercise, and a dashboard for school leadership. In October 2026 it raised €1.35 million in seed funding led by Caixa Capital and the Impact Innovation Fund, with participation from Techstars, COREangels Lisboa, COREangels Porto and Angels Way, to deepen product development, grow the team and expand into Brazil.
