One retrieval layer for AI agents: search, vector, graph and SQL over Parquet on object storage
Infino builds retrieval infrastructure for AI agents. Instead of keeping separate search engines, vector databases, graph databases, analytics stores and warehouses in sync, Infino keeps one copy of data as Parquet in the customer's own object storage (S3, GCS or Azure Blob) and lets agents combine full-text, semantic, graph and SQL queries in a single statement. Its core embedded retrieval library is open source under Apache 2.0, and it offers a hosted cloud platform. The company was founded by Ekechi Nwokah (CEO), Vinay Kakade, Asif Makhani and Murali Krishna, who previously built search and ML systems at Amazon (including AWS OpenSearch and Amazon CloudSearch), Google and LinkedIn. It emerged from stealth in October 2026 with a $7.5M seed round led by Bessemer Venture Partners (per The New Stack and Dealroom).
