Soft wearable exosuits for gait rehabilitation and daily walking
Hurotics is a Seoul-based wearable robotics company founded in 2022 by Chung-Ang University professor Lee Ki-wook, who previously researched soft exosuits at Harvard's Wyss Institute. Its tendon-driven, clothing-like exosuits analyze gait in real time and provide assistance; its H-Medi rehabilitation exosuit is certified as a Class 2 medical device in Korea and used at hospitals including Severance. In October 2026 it raised KRW 25 billion in a Series A led by Atinum Investment with Naver, Lotte and Daewoong participating, to expand H-Medi overseas and develop the H-Care daily walking-assist robot.
