Institutional Bitcoin yield without moving BTC off its custodian
HoneyB, developed by Nectar Group, Inc., is building an orchestration layer that connects Bitcoin with institutional capital markets. Institutions pledge BTC held at a qualified custodian (or transfer native BTC), HoneyB sources stablecoin borrowing against that collateral through institutional lending protocols, and the borrowed stablecoins are deployed into real-world-asset income strategies such as tokenized treasuries, with yield returned net of borrowing costs. It targets treasury companies, exchanges, fintechs and family offices. In October 2026 Nectar Group announced a $5M seed round led by Portal Ventures and Peer Ventures with participation from Anchorage Digital Ventures; its first strategy is being built with Simplify ETFs. Co-founder and CEO is Josh Gordon.
