About
HIYD makes an ultra-slim biometric sensor that attaches to the caseback of a mechanical or quartz watch with a microsuction pad, adding sleep, heart rate, HRV, recovery, stress and activity tracking without a smartwatch, glue, magnets or a monthly subscription. A companion app works on iOS and Android and integrates with Apple Health and Google Health. The team, based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Toronto, was selected for TechCrunch Disrupt 2026's Startup Battlefield 200 and plans to launch its Gen 2 sensor on Kickstarter in November 2026.
