Electrochemical upcycling of blast-furnace CO2 into furnace fuel
Helix Carbon builds electrolyzers that convert blast-furnace exhaust carbon dioxide into carbon monoxide that can be reinjected to cut coke use and emissions in ironmaking, without replacing existing furnaces. Co-founded by CEO David Brown, the company also targets specialty chemicals made from industrial waste streams.
