Silicon battery materials maker behind the SCC55 silicon-carbon anode
Group14 Technologies manufactures and supplies advanced silicon battery materials. Its SCC55 silicon-carbon composite is used as an anode material to raise the energy density of lithium-ion batteries, and the company builds it through modular manufacturing facilities. Group14 is based in Woodinville, Washington. In late October 2026 it raised a $169 million Series D extension and announced plans to expand into Europe with a production facility in Sagunto, Spain.
