About
GreenCell Mobility is an Indian electric bus platform backed by Eversource Capital that operates electric intracity and intercity buses and runs the NueGo intercity electric coach brand. In October 2026 it raised Rs 330 crore (about $34.5 million) in equity from Impact Fund Denmark through the Danish SDG Investment Fund II, money it says will help deploy roughly 4,500 additional electric buses over the next six to eight quarters and take its fleet past 5,000 buses across 105 cities. Earlier in 2026 it secured $89 million in mezzanine financing from IFC, British International Investment and Tata Capital. Devndra Chawla is MD and CEO.
