Ghost (ghost.ai) is a San Francisco consumer hardware and software startup building personal AI computers. Its first product, Core, is a screenless desktop machine that runs open models locally, connects to a user's apps, files and smart-home devices, and continuously runs AI agents that can act on the user's behalf, with personal memory kept on the device. Ghost was founded by CEO Zain Javaid with a founding team including Nicholas Chua, Yifei Chen and Gautam Sharda. On October 5, 2026 it emerged from stealth and announced an $11M seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Abstract, Audacious Ventures, SV Angel and others, as reported by TechCrunch.
