Food scanner app that shows how ultra-processed supermarket products are
FLTRD is a Dutch foodtech startup whose app lets shoppers scan a product's barcode in the supermarket or at home and see straight away whether it is ultra-processed, with less processed alternatives suggested. Its PureScore is a 0–100 rating of a product's degree of processing based on ingredients, processing techniques and organic certification, built on the NOVA classification with nutrition experts. In October 2026 FLTRD announced a pre-seed round of more than €500,000 led by 4impact capital, with FMCG angel investors, to grow the team, expand to Belgium and license the PureScore to food producers and retailers.
