Fission is a New York startup building institutional market infrastructure that lets eligible investors sell tokenized fund shares in seconds instead of waiting months for conventional redemptions, settling trades atomically in stablecoins. It was founded in 2024 by CEO Jonathan Shaffer, CRO Steve Bendit, and CTO Curtis Humphrey. In October 2026 Fission announced a $10 million Series A led by Pantera Capital with participation from Circle Ventures, Borderless Capital, and Ari Rubenstein, following a $1.6 million pre-seed round.
