Finches is a Bavaria-based startup, founded in 2025 by CEO Catharina van Delden and CTO Dr. Stefanie Glenn, that builds sourcing intelligence for companies buying agricultural raw materials in food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. It combines a company's own procurement data such as suppliers, acreage, contracts, field visits and lab results with external signals including weather, satellite imagery, soil and crop science, local news and trade rules, then issues early-warning alerts explaining what each risk means and what to do next. Finches Intelligence launched in September 2026, and in October 2026 the company raised a €2 million pre-seed round led by High-Tech Gründerfonds with Vanagon Ventures as co-lead.
