Elorian is a Palo Alto AI research company building foundation models that natively understand and reason through visual information, including spatial relationships, physical constraints, and motion. It was founded in 2025 by CEO Andrew Dai, a former Google DeepMind researcher, with Yinfei Yang and Seth Neel. In April 2026 Elorian raised a $55 million seed round, and on 16 October 2026 it launched Glimpse, its first visual reasoning model, as a research preview available through an API and chat platform.
