Elax Energie is a French energy-tech company that makes existing electric appliances smart in order to reduce and decarbonise their energy consumption, with a focus on social housing. Its connected box, installed in under 20 minutes on an electric water heater, learns household usage and schedules heating for cheaper, lower-carbon electricity, while giving landlords remote monitoring, alerts and maintenance insights. The company says it works with 120 partner landlords and has equipped 100,000 homes, and it also offers electrification of collective boiler rooms. In 2026 it raised €30 million, with Noria joined by Crédit Mutuel Impact as a shareholder.
