AI platform that unifies CAD, PLM and ERP data for industrial product development
Datum (Datum Systems, Inc.) builds an AI platform for teams that design and manufacture physical products. It unifies data scattered across CAD, PLM, ERP, quality, warranty and sourcing systems by indexing every part by its geometry rather than its part number, reading native CAD directly, so records that name a part differently resolve to one identity. Engineers can search and ask questions of past designs and decisions, and Datum's manufacturing agents handle work such as quoting, classification and part consolidation. TechCrunch describes its proprietary Geometric Fingerprint technology for identifying parts by shape. Datum has offices in San Francisco and Detroit and presented at the PearX demo day in late September 2026.
