About
Cowboy is a New York platform for developers to own, control and monetize AI. Developers deploy agents that run permanently, hold their own credentials and files, transact with other agents, and can be listed for hire in the Cowboy General Store, which launched with more than 100 agents and 10,000 data feeds. Cowboy built its own agent operating system with a file system, secret store and message queue, and is opening a testnet for the Cowboy Chain ahead of a planned mainnet. Founded in 2025 by Chad DePue and Uncommon Projects, it emerged from stealth in November 2026 with $5M in seed funding from investors including Nebular, Compound and Semantic Ventures.
