Comet Cloud provides dedicated, single-tenant NVIDIA GPU clusters delivered either as a managed Kubernetes and Slurm platform or as bare metal with root access, for AI training, fine-tuning and inference. Founded by CEO Thomas Kato, whose background spans payments processing and Bitcoin mining, it focuses on small and midsize businesses and regulated customers such as medical offices and law firms that want isolated compute rather than shared hyperscaler capacity. It currently supplies bare-metal capacity to partners including the Andromeda compute marketplace and, per SiliconANGLE in October 2026, has 300 acres under contract on the US West Coast.
