Chubby Group, formerly Chubby Cattle International, is a Los Angeles-based food and beverage company founded in 2016 that operates experiential Asian dining brands including Chubby Cattle, Wagyu House, The X Pot, NIKU X, Mikiya, Chubby Skewers and Chubby Bowls, alongside a supply-chain arm (Chubby Supply) and the Chubby Club lifetime dining membership. In October 2026 it announced a $50 million Series A led by Prysm Capital at a $500 million valuation, its first institutional round, and signed a letter of intent to acquire the operations of 47 GEN Korean BBQ restaurants and four development sites from GEN Restaurant Group in a deal valued at up to $100 million. The company was co-founded by David Zhao and Harby Yang.
