Braid, formerly Next Communications, lets enterprises offer branded mobile connectivity without becoming a telecom operator. A single API orchestrates more than 600 carrier networks across over 200 countries, so brands can embed SIM and eSIM connectivity into their own products via API or SDK, or launch a fully branded eShop with no engineering. Founded in 2023 by Jignesh Dave, Vishal Dave and Mitesh Popat and headquartered in The Hague, it says it serves close to 90 enterprise customers in travel, fintech, clubs and communities and telecoms. In October 2026 it announced a $38 million Series A led by Octopus Ventures with KPN Ventures, its first outside funding.
