About
Blueprints AI is a Santa Monica startup, incorporated in 2025 by architect and contractor Al Drams and chief commercial officer Coco Cao, that uses AI to produce construction documents from a 2D sketch, PDF or project description. Its software covers architectural, structural, MEP, Title 24, fire and interior drawings and checks designs against local building codes, with licensed professionals still reviewing and sealing documents before permit submission. Its models were trained on eight years of approved drawing sets from Drams' design and construction firm. It targets architecture, engineering and design firms as well as developers and real estate owners, and was selected for TechCrunch Disrupt 2026's Startup Battlefield 200, where it is launching its second-generation (V2) software.
