Applied AI company modernizing Medicare and Medicaid with dedicated care teams that combine clinicians, coordinators and AI
Baba is a New York applied AI company modernizing the Medicare and Medicaid experience. Every Baba patient gets a dedicated care team, including care coordinators and licensed therapists working alongside AI, that keeps care connected across specialist visits, hospital discharges, behavioral health, insurance and benefits, in-home support and needs like housing and transportation, working with patients' existing doctors. Founded and led by CEO Connor Sweeney, Baba says it has supported more than 10,000 patients and families. In June 2026 CMS selected it for the ACCESS Model across all four clinical tracks, and on October 20, 2026 it announced a $40 million Series A led by FirstMark Capital, with CVS Health Ventures and Valtruis joining returning investors General Catalyst, Genius Ventures and Ground Up Ventures. Baba also publishes BabaBench, a benchmark for long-horizon patient advocacy tasks by AI agents.
