Awear is building a cross-device, context-aware, multimodal intelligence layer for personal AI so that a person's AI agent can move across devices and brands while remaining under the user's control. The company emerged from stealth at Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit in September 2026, starting with smart glasses built on Snapdragon AR1+. Founder and CEO Dr. Ash Saulsbury previously worked on technologies behind AirPods and Apple Watch at Apple, incubated Ray-Ban smart glasses technology at Meta, and led the AR1 silicon program at Microsoft.
