Sensor intelligence that turns camera networks into real-time public-safety AI
Augur (Augur Initiative) is a UK security AI company that fuses existing camera and sensor networks into a real-time intelligence layer for national security and public safety, emphasising live risk detection rather than after-the-fact CCTV review. Tech.eu reports its technology is used by Transport for London and that founders include two former Palantir executives. In June 2026 it raised a $15M seed led by Plural; on October 14, 2026 the UK government's Sovereign AI Fund announced an investment (amount undisclosed; fund typically writes £5–10M) and access to the Isambard-AI supercomputer for multi-camera training.
