About
Arkeus is a Melbourne-based defence technology company that builds AI-powered optical sensing systems acting as the eyes and brain of autonomous platforms across air, land and maritime domains. Its hyperspectral optical radar (HSOR) sensors run an onboard AI orchestration and data fusion engine called ARK to detect, classify, locate and track objects in real time for search, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, including in degraded or denied environments. Its product line includes Warden HSOR for tactical uncrewed aircraft, Surface HSOR (S-HSOR) and Optical Terminal Guidance (OTG). In October 2026 the Australian Army confirmed acquisition of the first tranche of Warden systems for its Integrator drones under the TUAS program, delivered and sustained by Insitu Pacific (per Arkeus, Australian Defence Magazine and EX2). The company is led by CEO and co-founder Simon Olsen.
