About
Arena (arena.ai) originated as a UC Berkeley research project that crowdsources rankings of AI models and now operates a commercial AI Evaluations business for labs and enterprises. On October 8, 2026 it announced a $200 million Series B at a $3.1 billion valuation led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Khosla Ventures, with Salesforce Ventures, 01 Advisors, Dell Technologies Capital, Endeavor Catalyst, a16z, Felicis and others participating, TechCrunch reported. The company said it reached $100 million in annualized run-rate revenue in June and launched an alignment leaderboard measuring issues such as unauthorized actions and deceptive completions.
