Turns idle backup batteries into energy assets that cut costs and earn from the grid
Amplicity is a Singapore-headquartered energy technology company, founded in 2025, that optimises and monetises the UPS and backup batteries already installed at data centres and industrial sites. Its edge-native control layer dispatches the capacity above a site-set backup reserve to shave peak electricity charges and bid into grid and ancillary energy markets, and it can also optimise operational battery storage or install new capacity with financing. It works on performance-based fees with low or no upfront capital and is live in Singapore and Australia. Amplicity started at ENGIE Factory and in October 2026 announced a US$1.01 million seed round backed by Loyal VC.
