AmericanFortress develops privacy infrastructure for name-based digital asset transactions for people, AI agents, wallets and institutions. Its patented Send-to-Name technology lets a reusable @name resolve to fresh, transaction-specific receiving addresses on supported networks, so payments can be made to a name without publishing a permanent wallet-address directory, with selective disclosure of records. Products include FortressName human-readable names, a self-custodial desktop wallet in beta for macOS, and a forthcoming SDK for wallets, chains and exchanges. In October 2026 its CEO Michal 'Mehow' Pospieszalski became a founding contributor to the Quantum Alliance, an open standards body for post-quantum readiness in blockchains.
