Ambi builds ambient intelligence: AI apps that capture context in real time from meetings and conversations, remember what matters, and proactively surface suggestions and relevant knowledge using the user's calendar, meetings, knowledge base and web data. It has released apps for iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch, with ambient capture off by default, and says it is building its own hardware device with a screen, speaker, camera and microphones. The company was co-founded by CEO Peter Mo, a former Plaud executive, and has staff in San Francisco, Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. On October 12, 2026 TechCrunch reported Ambi raised $26 million across multiple rounds led by Luminous Ventures and ODM Huaqin.
