Alta is an AI styling app founded by Jenny Wang. Users digitize their wardrobe by photographing items, forwarding e-receipts or picking items from Alta's database, then get personalized daily outfit recommendations based on their closet, occasion, weather and budget, try outfits on a personalized virtual avatar, plan looks on a style calendar and generate packing lists for trips. Alta says it has trained a dozen in-house fashion AI models, and alongside its free consumer app it offers AI styling and rendering services to fashion brands and retailers, including powering the AI in Rent the Runway's app. In October 2026 it announced a $20 million Series A led by Forerunner, with Menlo Ventures and Aglaé Ventures returning (reported by Fortune). It is based in New York.
