Akuity was founded by Argo project co-creators Hong Wang (CEO), Jesse Suen and Alexander Matyushentsev, who were founding engineers at Applatix before it open-sourced Argo and was acquired by Intuit. The company offers the Akuity Platform for managed, enterprise-scale Argo CD and GitOps continuous deployment, Kargo for multi-stage promotion, AI dashboards and agents for remediation, and enterprise support for Argo. On October 12, 2026 it added Fleet Management to Kargo Enterprise so platform teams can roll one change across hundreds of Kubernetes clusters as a single wave-by-wave release with health checks and fleet-wide rollback.
