AI interface ring that predicts and approves everyday actions
Aina is a consumer hardware company founded by former Ultrahuman VP of Hardware Apoorv Shankar. After operating in stealth, it unveiled the Aina Ring on November 5, 2026: a titanium smart ring with an OLED display, gestures, mic, and speaker that learns routines on-device and surfaces one next action (a Cue) for thumb-swipe approval. The ring also acts as a voice interface for AI agents, a media/meeting remote, and a phone-call device for iPhone and Mac. TechCrunch reported a $5.5 million raise in July; pre-orders opened November 5 with early-bird pricing from $399 and shipping planned for early 2027.
