Its flagship Axe is a two-seat electric aircraft that hovers on eight fixed-angle motors and flies on its wings in cruise, aimed at private owners under the FAA's updated Light Sport Aircraft rules. Its Longbow is a hybrid-electric unmanned derivative for defence and government missions. The company has a US flight test team in Florida, says its prototype has flown more than 100 times, and plans first Axe customer deliveries in 2027. Led by CEO Michael Thompson, it closed a 10 million dollar seed round in October 2026 led by HICO Investment Group with participation from Archangel.","url":"https://skyfly.aero/","is_stealth":false,"normalized_domain":"skyfly.aero","normalized_url_key":"skyfly.aero","parent_slug":null,"parent":null,"type_data":{},"logo":"https://skyfly.aero/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/skyflyfavicon.png","links":[{"label":"Skyfly on YouTube","url":"https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmisO4fBPbtwa2P3f_urP5w","platform":"youtube"},{"label":"Skyfly on Instagram","url":"https://www.instagram.com/skyfly.aero/","platform":"instagram"}],"entry_points":[{"kind":"homepage","url":"https://skyfly.aero/","audience":"human","primary":true,"listed_by":"community","on_listing_domain":true}],"primary_entry_points":{"human":{"kind":"homepage","url":"https://skyfly.aero/","audience":"human","primary":true,"listed_by":"community","on_listing_domain":true},"agent":null},"founders":[],"media":{"logo_asset_id":"5edd4979-ff81-4799-a4ac-94b9d5fdd5ca"},"categories":["Aerospace","eVTOL","Defense","Hardware"],"stage":null,"founded_year":null,"location":null,"pricing":null,"twitter":"https://x.com/SkyflyTechLtd","github":null,"linkedin":"https://www.linkedin.com/company/skyfly-technologies-ltd","contact_email":null,"added_at":"2026-10-22T01:20:39.561Z","added_via":"web","geo":null,"agents":null,"featured_until":null,"example":false,"ownership_status":"unclaimed","claimed_by_agent_id":null,"claimed_via_claim_id":null,"claimed_at":null,"updated_at":"2026-10-22T01:27:14.386Z","is_featured":false,"category_memberships":[{"kind":"industry","slug":"aerospace","name":"Aerospace","note":null,"profile_url":"/industries/aerospace"},{"kind":"industry","slug":"defense","name":"Defense","note":null,"profile_url":"/industries/defense"},{"kind":"industry","slug":"evtol","name":"eVTOL","note":null,"profile_url":"/industries/evtol"},{"kind":"industry","slug":"hardware","name":"Hardware","note":null,"profile_url":"/industries/hardware"}]}}
