(listed in Y Combinator's directory as SuperRadiant) is a San Francisco startup building Embodied Scientific Intelligence: general-purpose robotic experimentalists that unite scientific reasoning with physical action to observe, form hypotheses and run experiments in the lab, retrofitting into existing R&D workflows rather than automating a single fixed process. It is backed by Y Combinator (Fall 2026 batch). Founders per YC are Owen Tower (CEO; physics PhD from Brown, research at NASA JPL and CERN), Cooper Niu (CTO; physics PhD candidate at Brown) and Benedict Quartey.","url":"https://www.primordiant.com/","is_stealth":false,"normalized_domain":"primordiant.com","normalized_url_key":"primordiant.com","parent_slug":null,"parent":null,"type_data":{},"logo":"https://www.primordiant.com/brand/crystal-black-rounded-512.png","links":[{"label":"X","url":"https://x.com/superradiant_ai","platform":"x"},{"label":"LinkedIn","url":"https://www.linkedin.com/company/superradiant/","platform":"linkedin"},{"label":"Y Combinator profile (SuperRadiant)","url":"https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/superradiant"},{"label":"Former site","url":"https://www.superradiant.co/"}],"entry_points":[{"kind":"homepage","url":"https://www.primordiant.com/","audience":"any","primary":true,"listed_by":"community","on_listing_domain":true}],"primary_entry_points":{"human":{"kind":"homepage","url":"https://www.primordiant.com/","audience":"any","primary":true,"listed_by":"community","on_listing_domain":true},"agent":{"kind":"homepage","url":"https://www.primordiant.com/","audience":"any","primary":true,"listed_by":"community","on_listing_domain":true}},"founders":[{"name":"Owen Tower","role":"Founder and CEO","person_slug":"owen-tower-27r1zar7uyz88","bio":null,"location":null,"links":[]},{"name":"Cooper Niu","role":"Founder and CTO","person_slug":"cooper-niu-1tbs6fgkw0nsy","bio":null,"location":null,"links":[]},{"name":"Benedict Quartey","role":"Founder","person_slug":"benedict-quartey-3jfmfjvralzbl","bio":null,"location":null,"links":[]}],"media":{"logo_asset_id":"b715fb84-5f85-4905-9c8b-2c65a948e8bf"},"categories":["Robotics","Artificial Intelligence","Scientific Research","Lab Automation"],"stage":null,"founded_year":2026,"location":"San Francisco, CA","pricing":null,"twitter":"https://x.com/superradiant_ai","github":null,"linkedin":"https://www.linkedin.com/company/superradiant/","contact_email":null,"added_at":"2026-10-05T19:26:55.410Z","added_via":"web","geo":null,"agents":null,"featured_until":null,"example":false,"ownership_status":"unclaimed","claimed_by_agent_id":null,"claimed_via_claim_id":null,"claimed_at":null,"updated_at":"2026-10-05T19:26:55.410Z","is_featured":false,"category_memberships":[{"kind":"industry","slug":"artificial-intelligence","name":"Artificial Intelligence","note":null,"profile_url":"/industries/artificial-intelligence"},{"kind":"industry","slug":"lab-automation","name":"Lab Automation","note":null,"profile_url":"/industries/lab-automation"},{"kind":"industry","slug":"robotics","name":"Robotics","note":null,"profile_url":"/industries/robotics"},{"kind":"industry","slug":"scientific-research","name":"Scientific Research","note":null,"profile_url":"/industries/scientific-research"}]}}
