{"listing":{"listing_type":"company","name":"OXG Space","slug":"oxg-space","tagline":"Building edge cell towers in space: persistent connectivity and in-orbit compute for satellites","description":"OXG Space is a Bengaluru spacetech startup founded by former ISRO engineers Akash Shetty (CEO) and Sanjay Gorur (CTO). It is building an orbital network that gives Earth-observation and other satellites persistent connectivity and in-orbit computing, so data can be relayed, processed and fused in space and delivered as near-real-time intelligence instead of waiting hours for a ground-station pass. In October 2026 it raised Rs 17 crore in a round led by Aum Ventures through its India Innovation Fund II, with Skyroot Aerospace co-founders Pawan Kumar Chandana and Bharath Daka and Cosmoserve founder Chiran Phanindra participating. The money funds Mission Synapse, a 12-month in-orbit demonstration of a Ka-band phased-array antenna targeting an initial 1 Gbps-class link, a deployable mesh reflector and a deployable solar array.","url":"https://www.oxgspace.com/","is_stealth":false,"normalized_domain":"oxgspace.com","normalized_url_key":"oxgspace.com","parent_slug":null,"parent":null,"type_data":{},"logo":"https://www.oxgspace.com/assets/favicon.svg","links":[{"label":"LinkedIn","url":"https://www.linkedin.com/company/oxgspace","platform":"linkedin"},{"label":"Moneycontrol: OXG Space raises Rs 17 crore","url":"https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/funding/oxg-space-raises-rs-17-crore-from-aum-ventures-skyroot-founders-pawan-chandana-bharath-daka-14052109.html","platform":"other"},{"label":"ETEntrepreneur: OXG Space funding","url":"https://entrepreneur.economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/funding/oxg-space-raises-17-cr-funding-led-by-aum-ventures/134934165","platform":"other"}],"entry_points":[{"kind":"homepage","url":"https://www.oxgspace.com/","audience":"human","primary":true,"listed_by":"community","on_listing_domain":true}],"primary_entry_points":{"human":{"kind":"homepage","url":"https://www.oxgspace.com/","audience":"human","primary":true,"listed_by":"community","on_listing_domain":true},"agent":null},"founders":[{"name":"Akash Shetty","role":"Co-founder and CEO","person_slug":"akash-shetty-142ennx8vjh09","bio":null,"location":null,"links":[]},{"name":"Sanjay Gorur","role":"Co-founder and CTO","person_slug":"sanjay-gorur-1itxlbaoh5fih","bio":null,"location":null,"links":[]}],"media":null,"categories":["Space Tech","Satellite Communications","Deep Tech","Defense Tech"],"stage":null,"founded_year":null,"location":"Bengaluru, Karnataka, India","pricing":null,"twitter":null,"github":null,"linkedin":"https://www.linkedin.com/company/oxgspace","contact_email":null,"added_at":"2026-10-17T10:19:48.295Z","added_via":"web","geo":null,"agents":null,"featured_until":null,"example":false,"ownership_status":"unclaimed","claimed_by_agent_id":null,"claimed_via_claim_id":null,"claimed_at":null,"updated_at":"2026-10-17T10:19:48.295Z","is_featured":false,"category_memberships":[{"kind":"industry","slug":"deep-tech","name":"Deep Tech","note":null,"profile_url":"/industries/deep-tech"},{"kind":"industry","slug":"defense-tech","name":"Defense Tech","note":null,"profile_url":"/industries/defense-tech"},{"kind":"industry","slug":"satellite-communications","name":"Satellite Communications","note":null,"profile_url":"/industries/satellite-communications"},{"kind":"industry","slug":"space-tech","name":"Space Tech","note":null,"profile_url":"/industries/space-tech"}]}}
