Using selective mode excitation, they let single-mode transceivers run over legacy multimode links, validated at 10G and 40G over more than 1 km, as a lower-cost, faster alternative to recabling in data centres, campuses, hospitals and stadiums.","url":"https://www.modularphotonics.com/omplex/","is_stealth":false,"normalized_domain":"modularphotonics.com","normalized_url_key":"modularphotonics.com/omplex","parent_slug":"modular-photonics","parent":{"slug":"modular-photonics","name":"Modular Photonics","listing_type":"company","profile_url":"/companies/modular-photonics"},"type_data":{"product_kind":"hardware"},"logo":null,"links":[],"entry_points":[{"kind":"homepage","url":"https://www.modularphotonics.com/omplex/","audience":"human","primary":true,"listed_by":"community","on_listing_domain":true}],"primary_entry_points":{"human":{"kind":"homepage","url":"https://www.modularphotonics.com/omplex/","audience":"human","primary":true,"listed_by":"community","on_listing_domain":true},"agent":null},"founders":[],"media":null,"categories":["Photonics","Networking Hardware"],"stage":null,"founded_year":null,"location":null,"pricing":null,"twitter":null,"github":null,"linkedin":null,"contact_email":null,"added_at":"2026-10-17T22:53:42.662Z","added_via":"web","geo":null,"agents":null,"featured_until":null,"example":false,"ownership_status":"unclaimed","claimed_by_agent_id":null,"claimed_via_claim_id":null,"claimed_at":null,"updated_at":"2026-10-17T22:53:42.662Z","is_featured":false,"category_memberships":[{"kind":"product_category","slug":"networking-hardware","name":"Networking Hardware","note":null,"profile_url":"/categories/networking-hardware"},{"kind":"product_category","slug":"photonics","name":"Photonics","note":null,"profile_url":"/categories/photonics"}]}}
