MEST Africa (Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology) is a fully-funded pan-African training programme and seed fund founded in 2008 by the Meltwater Foundation, headquartered in Accra, Ghana. Its current flagship is the MEST AI Startup Program: a 7-month in-person training phase followed by a 4-month incubation, with top teams eligible for pre-seed investment of up to $100,000. Since 2008, MEST has trained 2,000+ entrepreneurs and invested in 90+ startups across 22+ African countries. Open to West and East African nationals aged 21-35. Program duration: Up to 11 months (7-month training plus 4-month incubation).
